This eBook aims to inspire and empower young women to become engineers while celebrating the achievements of IEEE women in a wide range of technical professions. The Women In Engineering (WIE) eBook hopes to enhance the appeal of such careers and show through example how they benefit humanity. The eBook:
· Aims to increase young women’s’ understanding of engineering careers
· Describes how engineers benefit humanity and make a positive difference
· Introduces IEEE women and present their stories on how and why they were inspired to become engineers, learn about their work environments, and hear their advice for girls considering a career in engineering
